The Southampton Youth Orchestras consist of a pyramid of orchestras and string ensembles.
Players can progress through the ensembles, or enter directly at any level.

A ‘Pyramid’ Concert for all our orchestras is held at the Central Hall, Southampton each March, visit the Concerts and Events page for more details.
N.B. From September 2023, our lowest-tier group, Acorn Strings, has been merged with Elgar Strings
