How do I join?
- Go to easyfundraising.org.uk and you’ll be directed to a free registration page.
- Fill in your details and add a password.
- Then choose if you want to GiftAid your contribution.
Gift Aid is operated by the Government and allows charities to claim the basic rate of tax (25%) on every pound donated. This means that if you’re a UK tax payer, every £1 you raise with easyfundraising is actually worth £1.25 for your cause. If you are a UK taxpayer, you can help claim 25% extra on each donation via Gift Aid – at no extra cost. - You can then choose to be reminded to use easyfundraising.org.uk whenever you shop by downloading a small application onto your computer. It is entirely up to you if you wish to download the application, and it is not a requirement of using easyfundraising.
- Continue through the last screens and you will end up on the easyfundraising.org.uk search page.
- Type in the name of a retailer and you will be directed to their web site. You’ll need to do this every time in order to generate a commission. These are the ‘normal’ sites with exactly the same goods and prices as if you had navigated there direct.
- After you make a purchase, FSYO will be paid a commission, which can be somewhere between 2% and 10% of the purchase price, or occasionally a fixed amount. To earn the commission however, you must access the retail site each time through one of the links given.
- Handy Tip! Add the easyfundraising.org.uk page to your Favourites so you can find it quickly whenever you go shopping online and use it instead of your normal browser.
- That’s it! Thank you so much for helping to donate to FSYO. This simple act can help us to support so many young musicians in Southampton!
